Be Your Own Bear

If you're struggling and feeling low, I feel you. It's been a tricky week fro me too. So

💷 If you're worried about your finances, I get it.
💙 If you're anxious about your health or the health of a loved one, I get it.
👣 If you're struggling to stay home, I get it.
👤 If you're feeling lonely, I get it.
🛒 If supermarket shopping makes you anxious, I get it. 
🤦‍♀️ If you're sick of being with your living companions 24/7, I get it.
🤫 If you're enjoying physical distancing (much better term because we can still be social!) but feeling guilty, I get it. 
🏠 If you're relieved to not have to go out and face the world, I get it. 
😤 If you feel you should be doing 'more' during this time but can't muster up the energy or inclination, I get it. 
Whatever is going on for you is VALID. Even if other people have it "worse" than you. Whatever you're experiencing is valid. ALWAYS.

To be able to sit in these feelings and NOT numb with TV/wine/food/phonecalls/cleaning/social media/any other distractions is a skill. An important one. One I've been developing over the years but its not easy. And this week I was called to sharpen and strengthen this skill. There is a huge power in sitting with/in the discomfort, the pain, the worry, the anxiousness. Because WOW the relief it brings... I experience the relief as a WHOOOOOSH leaving my heavy heart, leaving my knotted stomach or evaporating from my racing mind. And WOW I feel so INCREDIBLE afterwards 🤩


So, I invite you to sit with those feelings, emotions, whatever you're feeling. And b-r-e-e-e-a-t-h-e into them. Allow them to pass (they want to leave you anyway). Be your own Bear. For yourself. So your fearful rabbit has a friendly companion 🙂 And if its too hard (I get it) and you feel you just can't right now, I'll be your Bear. Simply reach out to me by contacting me.
