Keeping it light

I don't know about you but I feel I've turned a corner this week. Last week's intense energies culminating with the weekend's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse caused a lot of mental, emotional and energetic purging for me. It was hard, dark, painful and scary at times. I was fortunate I am grounded in my self-empowerment practices and grateful soul-mates showed up at exactly the perfect moments to help me through. Now, I feel a lightness dancing in my heart that only I know. I feel more love and appreciation for myself when I catch myself in a mirror. Family dynamics, money worries, body issues feel further away than ever before, as though they're on the horizon somewhere and I'd have to really look for them to catch a glimpse. I wanted to share this lightness with you 🤩
Whether you're experiencing something completely different or are in the depths of despair right now, know you can still absorb and breathe in the lightness I am sending you with these words 🙌💫🙌

And here's how:

Place your hands over the centre of your chest, one hand on top of the other. Close your eyes. Feel the warmth of your touch. Feel your heart centre (not to be confused with your physical beating heart but your emotional heart centre) underneath your hands. Now take 5 deeeeeeep breaths. Inhaling and exhaling as deeply as you can, for as long as you can. And as you do, breathe deeply into your heart centre. Connect. As you inhale, connect to the lightness that is present here. The lightness that says:

1. "It's all ok."
2. "You're going to be alright."
3. "In this moment you are ok."
4. "You got this."
5. "You'll know exactly what to do, when you need to do it- fear not".

How do you feel? Calmer? More relaxed? As though you let go of some sh*t?

Sometimes we just need some lightness. And often we also need a laugh (see image above) 🤣

If you want another laugh, I howled with laughter all the way through Ronny Chieng's Netflix comedy special "Asian Comedian Destroys America!" this week. I even went back and rewatched bits, only to crack up again even though I knew what was coming 😂

May your week ahead be full of lightness and laughter.

With all my love,
Chandrika ❣️
