Woah we're in September! How are we in the last quarter of the year? Wishing you the last quarter is smoother sailing than the previous 3 quarters!

This saying popped into my mind this morning as I brushed my teeth. I haven't thought about it for years. I first read it when I was 19 and it affected me deeply. At the time I wrote it down and kept reading. I would recite it internally. It brought me both a sense of peace and melancholy, at the same time.
